This is a new collaboration with Tomasz Biernat and myself. We tend to talk a little back and forth to come up with an idea for the next project and once that is agreed upon it’s over to Tomek’s genius hands to work out a design and eventually a tight outline. Receiving a fresh design from Tomek is always an amazing experience as he takes these words/ideas to places I just could never have imagined. I love his unique sense of design and he is one of the few type designers which I can recognize immediately……such a distinct style! Then, over to me and I endeavor to interpret his design into 3D. Always a challenge as I take care to maintain his form and feel, to the best of my ability, all the while adding a piece of myself to the project. This is not always a simple and easy task and most always requires me to develop a whole new approach to 3D, to accomplish these ends. I always learn at lot and grow as an artist working on designs created by such an aesthetically brilliant soul.
